Why a Blog?
For me, blogging provides a public record of what I’m seeing.
My friends and family are spread out across the country. Our lives are getting busier and time — even to let our loved ones know what we’re up to — has become scarce.
Starting a blog of my photos seemed like it could alleviate some of this distance. It might allow me to communicate with the many beautiful people who have graciously crossed my path. And maybe get in touch with some of those people who were lost along the way.
A photoblog also forces me to stay rooted creatively, which becomes more satisfying every day. The value of hobbies is one of the many lessons that I credit my Grandfather with teaching me.
